"Détour Noir Exclusif is a dense, expressive Eau de Parfum built around an almond and citrus opening. Watery facets soften the opening before the fragrance develops into a floral and animalic heart featuring civet, geranium, rose, gardenia, and water lily. The drydown is rich and layered, combining guaiac wood, Laotian oud, vanilla, coffee, sandalwood, patchouli, amber, oakmoss, and pink pepper. Its character is woody, sweet, nutty, powdery, and animalic, with oud providing much of the composition's depth. The fragrance has a strong, long-lasting presence and is designed for noticeable projection. Its overall style is clone-inspired and opulent rather than minimalist or traditionally light."
