Amber Cologne (EDP)

"Amber Cologne is a luminous citrus-floral Eau de Parfum that presents ambergris in a fresher, more transparent setting than the name may suggest. Its opening combines bright lemon, bergamot, grapefruit, sweet orange, cardamom, and frangipani for a juicy, radiant effect. Sambac jasmine brings an airy yet potentially indolic floral character, while sandalwood and Virginia cedar add creamy and dry woody facets. The drydown is built around grey and brown ambergris, vanilla, and two varieties of oud, producing a salty, gently animalic, warm, and exotic finish. The composition is intended to be highly wearable in warm weather while retaining the depth associated with Bortnikoff's materials.
