"L'Anarchiste EDT is a men's fragrance by Caron launched in 2000 and composed by Richard Fraysse. Contemporary sources describe it as a woody, spicy, aromatic scent with a distinctly unusual cold-to-warm contrast, pairing mint and orange blossom up top with woods, vetiver, and musk underneath. Community descriptions repeatedly mention a metallic, minty, spicy character that made it one of the more unconventional Caron masculines of its era. The fragrance developed a reputation for being polarizing but intelligent, with an opening many users found strikingly bracing before it settled into a woody-musky drydown. It was marketed in the mainstream designer space but carried a more niche-leaning personality than many men's releases of the early 2000s. The scent is now generally regarded as discontinued."
