Bois de Santal (EDP)

"Bois de Santal is a vintage Creed sandalwood composition with a distinctly traditional, animalic character. Its opening combines bright citrus and green facets with civet, creating a sharper and more feral introduction than modern sweet sandalwood fragrances. Sandalwood dominates the heart and continues into the drydown, where tonka bean and vanilla add powdery warmth and sweetness. The overall effect is woody, musky, slightly dirty, and classically groomed rather than overtly modern. It should not be confused with the later and more widely available Original Santal or with Santal Imperial. The fragrance is now a vaulted collector's item and is no longer in regular production."
