Shalimar (EDC)

"Shalimar Eau de Cologne is the lighter, more transparent interpretation of Guerlain’s historic Shalimar signature. It retains the house’s characteristic contrast between bright citrus, powdery florals, balsamic resins, leather, and vanilla. The opening is brisk and luminous, with bergamot, lemon, and mandarin supported by cedar. Its heart introduces iris, vetiver, patchouli, jasmine, and rose, giving the composition a dry, floral, and earthy middle. The base remains richly oriental through vanilla, incense, benzoin, opoponax, leather, sandalwood, musk, civet, and Peru balsam. Although less concentrated than the classic parfum, this Eau de Cologne preserves Shalimar’s vintage elegance and distinctive amber-spicy identity."
