"Apple Brandy New York is a rich, boozy woody fragrance built around the contrast between apple liquor and a dark oak-cask impression. Its opening suggests hard cider, Calvados, and apple brandy, with a pronounced alcoholic sweetness. The heart develops a charred, barrel-aged wood effect supported by labdanum and smoky nuances. Cedar, vanilla, ambroxan, and sugar-like warmth create a smooth and persistent drydown. The overall character is decadent, autumnal, resinous, and designed for evening wear or cooler conditions. It is the original 2013 New York release and should be distinguished from the fresher 2021 Apple Brandy on the Rocks flanker."
