Black Oud (EDP)

"Black Oud is a dark, dense oud fragrance built around the contrast between smoky woods, incense, and a restrained rose accent. Its opening combines rose and geranium with cardamom and pink pepper, giving the composition a floral-spiced entrance. Papyrus, patchouli, cedar, and methyl pamplemousse form a dry, textured heart. The base deepens into agarwood, incense, moss, sandalwood, musk, and labdanum. The overall character is woody, resinous, smoky, warm-spiced, and atmospheric rather than soft or conventionally pretty. It belongs to Kilian's more opulent and nocturnal style of perfumery and is now primarily encountered through the collector and resale market."
