"Elisabethan Rose is a classic English rose fragrance originally introduced in 1984. Its character is built around a crisp, dewy rose impression rather than a heavily sweet or modern interpretation. Green herbal facets, aldehydes, geranium, and chamomile give the opening a fresh, slightly sharp garden quality. Violet adds a soft powdery floral nuance through the heart. The drydown becomes gentler and more traditionally perfumed, with musk, sandalwood, and amber creating a restrained woody warmth. This original Eau de Toilette should be distinguished from the differently composed 2018 Eau de Parfum release sharing its name."
