Profumo (EDP)

"Profumo is a classical feminine floral chypre first introduced in 1930 as a counterpart to Acqua di Parma's signature Colonia. Its character is rich and aristocratic, balancing luminous bergamot and floral notes against labdanum, woods, patchouli, and earthy facets. The composition has a dense, full-bodied texture rather than the transparent freshness associated with many traditional Italian colognes. Its drydown is dark, woody, resinous, and subtly smoky, with a polished powdery softness. The fragrance is often regarded as a notable example of early twentieth-century Italian perfumery and is now primarily encountered through vintage and collector markets."
