Prélude (EDT)

"Prélude is a classic floral-oriental Eau de Toilette introduced in 1982 for women. It opens with a bright, aromatic blend of aldehydes, citrus, orange, and spicy pimento. The heart becomes richly floral, pairing carnation and orchid with ylang-ylang, jasmine, rose, and cinnamon. Its base is warm, balsamic, resinous, and animalic, built around frankincense, tolu balsam, benzoin, amber, civet, patchouli, and vanilla. The overall character is elegant, bold, vintage, and highly distinctive rather than light or minimalist.
