"Royal Delight is a vintage unisex floral-oriental fragrance from Creed, commercially released in 1993. Its opening is bright and sparkling, pairing tangerine with bergamot for a refined citrus lift. The heart develops into a powdery floral arrangement centered on violet and jasmine. In the drydown, salty ambergris and smooth leather create an aristocratic, slightly animalic character. The overall effect is dignified, elegant, and more traditionally textured than Creed's later citrus-fruity releases. It is now regarded as a discontinued collector fragrance with a distinctly vintage personality."

Creed's historical storytelling associates the fragrance with a royal commission dating to 1886, although its commercial release was in 1993.
Original standard bottles were reportedly offered in 75 ml and 30 ml sizes, rather than the modern 100 ml format.
