"Guess Original is a feminine chypre floral fragrance launched in 1990. It opens with a bright, tart blend of mandarin orange, cassis, grapefruit, ylang-ylang, and lemon. The heart develops into a rich floral bouquet led by orange flower, jasmine, hyacinth, iris, and lily-of-the-valley, with cinnamon adding warmth. Its base combines amber, sandalwood, oakmoss, patchouli, vanilla, orris root, benzoin, and labdanum. The mossy, woody, balsamic drydown gives the fragrance a distinctly classic early-1990s character. It is best understood as a vintage feminine composition rather than a modern fruity-floral release."
