Rumeur (EDP)

"Rumeur is a classic feminine chypre with a rich, dense, and distinctly vintage character. Its opening combines aldehydic brightness with bergamot and ripe plum and peach nuances. The heart develops into a floral and spicy arrangement centered on jasmine, clove, nutmeg, and cardamom. A dark base of leather, oakmoss, tobacco, sandalwood, patchouli, vetiver, civet, and vanilla gives the fragrance considerable depth and sensuality. The overall effect is elegant, dramatic, earthy, and animalic rather than light or conventionally sweet. The 1934 composition is separate from the later Rumeur introduced in the 2000s, which has a different creator and note structure."
