Scandal (Parfum)

"Scandal is a classic feminine leather chypre created for Lanvin in 1933. Its character opens with a sharp, green and citrus-tinged freshness before developing into a floral heart shaped by leather, iris, ylang-ylang and rose. The drydown is mossy, resinous and woody, with incense, vetiver, benzoin and vanilla adding depth. The fragrance is notably more assertive and structured than a soft floral perfume, with leather as its defining signature. Its style is elegant, bold and distinctly representative of classic early twentieth-century perfumery. Scandal is now regarded as a discontinued vintage composition with a strongly individual character."
