"LP No.9 for Ladies is an unconventional floral-aromatic fragrance with a distinctly androgynous character. Its opening combines citrus, lavender, geranium, tarragon, and bergamot in a dry, herbaceous style that can recall a traditional fougere. The heart develops into a richly spicy floral arrangement centered on carnation, rose, and jasmine. Cedar, amber, cinnamon, patchouli, musk, and vanilla create a warm, woody, softly oriental base. The fragrance is notable for contrasting a brisk aromatic opening with a more sensual and enveloping drydown. It was introduced in 1998 and is now regarded as a discontinued vintage Penhaligon's release."
