Its opening combines metallic and aldehydic freshness with cardamom, pepper, water notes, violet leaf, ginger, and neroli. Lavender, beeswax, leather, lime blossom, and cyclamen form a textured heart that balances clean refinement with honeyed warmth. The base develops into a woody, mossy, ambered drydown supported by tonka bean, patchouli, vanilla, musk, myrrh, cedar, and Gurjan balsam. Bertrand Duchaufour gives the fragrance a polished, intricate character that feels tailored rather than conventionally sporty or bombastic.
