"Diaghilev is a grand, classical chypre built around a bright citrus opening, an opulent floral heart, and a deep mossy base. Lemon, bergamot, lime, orange, and tarragon create a sparkling introduction with aromatic green facets. The heart develops into a lavish floral arrangement of rose, jasmine, tuberose, ylang ylang, heliotrope, violet, blackcurrant bud, and peach. Its drydown is dense and complex, combining oakmoss, patchouli, woods, spices, leather, balsamic materials, ambergris, musk, and animalic accents. The overall character is luxurious, dramatic, elegant, and deliberately old-world in style. It is designed as a statement chypre with substantial depth and a memorable trail."
