"Bois Doré is a warm amber-woody Eau de Parfum released in 2017 as part of Van Cleef & Arpels' Collection Extraordinaire. It opens with a crisp, mineral-like impression sharpened by black pepper. The heart develops a smooth blend of vanilla, almond, tobacco, cedar, and soft woody facets. Tonka bean, teak wood, and musk create a creamy, powdery, gently sensual drydown. Despite its sweetness, the composition is more polished and woody than overtly dessert-like.
