"Talisman for Women is a richly complex oriental floral launched in 1994. Its opening combines dried fruits, rum, pineapple, peach, osmanthus, aldehydes, and bright citrus facets for a lush and unusual first impression. The heart develops through ylang-ylang, carnation, jasmine, rose, iris, cyclamen, freesia, and lily of the valley. A warm base of beeswax, leather, caramel, sandalwood, vanilla, tonka bean, patchouli, amber, coconut, cedar, and musk gives the fragrance considerable depth. The composition balances juicy fruit and opulent florals with softly sweet, resinous, waxy, and woody nuances. It is regarded as a distinctive vintage Balenciaga perfume with a full-bodied and expressive character."
