"Astor Place is a fresh floral-woody-musk fragrance introduced by Bond No. 9 in 2009. Its character opens with bright mandarin and green violet leaf, creating an airy, lightly citrusy impression. The heart centers on freesia, red poppy buds, and orris, giving the composition a soft floral and subtly powdery texture. Teakwood, musk, and amber form a smooth, gently warm drydown without making the fragrance feel heavy. Although officially unisex, its delicate freesia and floral emphasis can read as somewhat feminine-leaning to some wearers.
