"Bayrhum Vetiver is a vintage Creed fragrance built around the brisk, bitter character of Caribbean bay rum and vetiver. Its opening combines bay leaf and black pepper, creating a sharp, aromatic impression with a medicinal edge. Vetiver remains central through the heart and drydown, where it gives the fragrance an earthy, woody backbone. Spices associated with bay-rum traditions, including clove and cinnamon, add warmth and pungency. The overall style is dry, bracing, and traditionally masculine rather than sweet or polished.
