"Rose Tonnerre was originally launched in 2003 under the name Une Rose and was renamed by the house in 2021. It is a dark, unconventional rose fragrance built around the contrast between lush floral richness and earthy, savory depth. Honey, wine lees, and fruit create a vivid opening with both sweetness and boozy character. The heart introduces Turkish rose alongside truffle, geranium, violet, saffron, and orris. Patchouli, vetiver, castoreum, woods, moss, musk, and vanilla form a deep, textured foundation. The result is an iconic and dramatic interpretation of rose rather than a clean or purely delicate floral scent."
