"Royal Leather is a dark, polished leather fragrance also known as Royal Leather Mayfair and the Burlington Arcade Exclusive. It opens with dry black tea and airy hawthorn, creating a tannic, slightly austere introduction. The heart brings forward rich leather softened by the powdery, almond-like character of heliotrope. Laotian oud and Indonesian patchouli give the drydown an earthy, woody, smoky depth. The composition is bold and luxurious rather than sweet, with an animalic edge balanced by refined smoothness.
