Arpège (EDP)

"Arpège is an iconic floral-aldehydic fragrance introduced by Lanvin in 1927. Its character opens with a bright, sparkling aldehydic effect supported by citrus, green, fruity, and soft floral nuances. The heart becomes richly floral, combining jasmine, ylang-ylang, rose, iris, lily of the valley, and other garden-flower facets. A warm base of sandalwood, amber, vetiver, musk, benzoin, vanilla, and patchouli gives the composition depth and a softly powdery finish. The overall style is elegant, classic, feminine, and richly layered rather than minimalist or transparent. Arpège is regarded as one of the defining historic floral-aldehydic perfumes of the twentieth century."
