Oud Velvet Mood (EDP)

"Oud Velvet Mood is a dark, dry interpretation of oud built around saffron, Ceylon cinnamon, copaiba balsam, and Laotian oud. Its character is notably resinous and woody rather than sweet or floral. The composition opens with a sharp, medicinal impression before developing warmer balsamic and spicy facets. As it settles, copaiba brings a smooth resinous quality while oud contributes smoky, leathery, and animalic depth. The fragrance is regarded as one of the more challenging and uncompromising creations in the house's oud portfolio. Its original formulation is distinct from the later product released under the same name as an extrait interpretation."
