Amaranthine (EDP)

"Amaranthine is an unconventional floral oriental created by Bertrand Duchaufour for Penhaligon's. Its opening combines green tea, banana leaf, cardamom, coriander, and white freesia for a fresh, leafy, lightly spiced introduction. The heart becomes richer and more sensual, blending jasmine, ylang-ylang, carnation, rose, orange blossom, and clove. A creamy base of condensed milk, musk, vanilla, sandalwood, and tonka bean gives the fragrance a lactonic, sweet, and intimate character. The contrast between green freshness, indolic florals, warm spice, and milky woods makes it distinctive and deliberately polarizing. Amaranthine is now regarded as a sought-after discontinued release from the house's early twenty-first-century catalogue."
