Gardenia (EDT)

"Gardenia is a feminine floral fragrance from Penhaligon's archive, presented in a reworked form for the Anthology Collection in 2009. Its character is a luminous white-floral bouquet rather than a dense, indolic gardenia soliflore. A tart, green opening gives the composition freshness and translucency before the heart becomes more floral and traditionally elegant. Tuberose, magnolia, jasmine, and gardenia create a rounded bouquet, while spice accents add definition. The drydown is soft, warm, and lightly powdery, combining vanilla, musk, benzoin, and sandalwood. The overall effect is romantic, polished, and well suited to daytime formal occasions or garden settings."
