"Bornéo 1834 is a dark, resinous eau de parfum centered on Indonesian patchouli and cacao. Its character is earthy and woody rather than overtly sugary, giving the cocoa facet a dry, shadowy quality. Green and camphoraceous nuances add lift and tension to the dense patchouli core. Galbanum, cistus, and labdanum contribute balsamic, resinous depth, while licorice reinforces the fragrance's bitter-sweet darkness. The overall effect is moody, sensual, and strongly textural, with a distinctly oriental character.
