Hyrax (Parfum)

"Hyrax is an intensely animalic, woody-spicy fragrance inspired by the hyrax and the distinctive character of hyraceum. Its opening combines elemi, pink pepper, saffron, and Turkish rose for a bright but sharply spiced introduction. The heart develops an unusual mineral-animal impression through hyraceum, hyacinth, styrax, and whiskey. In the drydown, amber, benzoin, castoreum, civet, patchouli, sandalwood, and tonka bean create a dark, resinous, leathery, and musky effect. The fragrance is bold and unconventional rather than conventionally clean or easygoing. Its unusual balance of floral, resinous, smoky, and animalic facets makes it a distinctive example of Zoologist's artistic style."
