Northern Cardinal (EDP)

"Northern Cardinal is a green chypre with a brisk, vintage-leaning character and a distinctly outdoorsy atmosphere. Its opening combines bitter citrus and tart green facets before moving toward aromatic sage, rose, and leather. Oakmoss, patchouli, musk, and vanilla give the drydown an earthy, textured foundation. The composition is more austere and sharply tailored than traditionally soft or floral. It evokes cool woodland air, damp earth, and late-autumn landscapes. The fragrance was initially released under the name Cardinal and was later renamed Northern Cardinal for trademark reasons."
